REVIEW

It’s always good to take a break from fiction and stimulate the brain, and I knew that’s what I was getting into with this book but it was WAY more than I bargained for… The lives of artists, writers, scientist, and poets from way back when and their motives on love and life were a lot to follow. I’m sure if I was a little more intelligent and more into this book it would’ve been easier to read (and I would’ve gotten it done a lot quicker) but there was so much bounding around between these inspiring people that it was hard to keep track of just how amazing and influential each and every person was in history.

Now let me tell you some interesting things about love back in the day- there were more problems, drama, and infidelity than I’ve heard of in our day and age. But it didn’t happen via Tinder, or Instagram DM.. it happened in poetic letters, late night meetings, and summer loves. Not to mention that this infidelity was mainly by the ladies, on both sides. Yup, lesbian affairs people- tons of them!

If you have a lot of time on your hands and you’re looking to learn some things and also be entertained by some love and family drama go ahead and read these 500+ pages. But you’re also not missing anything if you don’t.
